Saya memiliki gambaran tentang Allen Samuels yang terpatri selamanya di otak saya. Ini kembali ke perguruan tinggi. Dengan energi luar biasa dan semangatnya yang tak terkendali, profesor desain yang sangat bersemangat ini menjelaskan kepada kita mengapa proses desain yang kita pelajari sangat penting. Setiap profesi, dia menyarankan dengan keyakinan, kedokteran, hukum, koreografi atau politik dapat memperoleh manfaat dengan menggunakan Design Thinking dan mencapai hasil yang lebih baik. Meskipun kita semua mendengar dan mempercayai apa yang dia katakan, itu membutuhkan waktu yang lama bagi potensi kata-katanya untuk menemukan pembelian dalam lingkungan bisnis yang bersedia menerima hipotesisnya.

Meskipun Desain paling sering digunakan untuk menggambarkan objek atau hasil akhir, Desain dalam bentuk yang paling efektif adalah proses, tindakan, kata kerja bukan kata benda. Protokol untuk memecahkan masalah dan menemukan peluang baru. Teknik dan peralatan berbeda dan keefektifannya dapat diperdebatkan tetapi inti dari prosesnya tetap sama. Dibutuhkan bertahun-tahun slogging melalui Desain = gaya tinggi untuk membawa kita lingkaran penuh ke kebenaran sederhana tentang Design Thinking. Itu adalah alat yang paling kuat dan ketika digunakan secara efektif, dapat menjadi fondasi untuk menggerakkan merek atau bisnis ke depan.

Pada dasarnya, Design Thinking terdiri dari empat elemen kunci.

1: Tentukan masalah
Kedengarannya sederhana tetapi melakukannya dengan benar barangkali merupakan yang paling penting dari keempat tahap itu. Cara lain untuk mengatakan itu adalah mendefinisikan masalah yang tepat untuk dipecahkan. Berpikir desain membutuhkan tim atau bisnis untuk selalu mempertanyakan brief, masalah yang harus dipecahkan. Untuk berpartisipasi dalam mendefinisikan peluang dan untuk merevisi peluang sebelum memulai penciptaan dan pelaksanaannya. Partisipasi biasanya melibatkan perendaman dan pemeriksaan silang yang intens dari filter yang telah digunakan dalam mendefinisikan masalah.

Dalam observasi Design Thinking mengambil pusat panggung. Pengamatan dapat membedakan apa yang benar-benar dilakukan orang dibandingkan dengan apa yang Anda katakan kepada mereka. Keluar dari kubus dan melibatkan diri dalam proses, produk, pengalaman belanja atau operasi teater adalah hal yang mendasar. Tidak ada kehidupan seseorang yang pernah diubah oleh presentasi PowerPoint.

Design Thinking dalam definisi masalah juga membutuhkan wawasan fungsional lintas ke setiap masalah dengan berbagai perspektif serta pertanyaan konstan dan tanpa henti, seperti yang dilakukan oleh anak kecil, Mengapa ?, Mengapa? Mengapa? Sampai akhirnya jawaban sederhana berada di belakang Anda dan masalah yang sebenarnya terungkap. Akhirnya, mendefinisikan masalah melalui Design Thinking membutuhkan penangguhan penilaian dalam mendefinisikan pernyataan masalah. Apa yang kami katakan bisa sangat berbeda dengan apa yang kami maksud. Kata-kata yang tepat itu penting. Itu bukan “mendesain kursi”, itu … “buat cara untuk menangguhkan seseorang”. Tujuan dari tahap definisi adalah untuk menargetkan masalah yang tepat untuk dipecahkan, dan kemudian membingkai masalah dengan cara yang mengundang solusi kreatif.

Pertanyaan; Berapa banyak desainer yang dibutuhkan untuk sekrup di bola lampu? Menjawab; Mengapa bola lampu?

2: Buat dan pertimbangkan banyak opsi
Bahkan tim dan bisnis yang paling berbakat kadang-kadang jatuh ke dalam perangkap memecahkan masalah dengan cara yang sama setiap saat. Terutama ketika hasil yang sukses dihasilkan dan waktunya singkat. Design Thinking mensyaratkan bahwa seberapapun jelasnya solusi itu, banyak solusi dibuat untuk dipertimbangkan. Dan diciptakan dengan cara yang memungkinkan mereka untuk dinilai sama mungkin jawaban. Melihat masalah dari lebih dari satu perspektif selalu menghasilkan hasil yang lebih kaya.

Sering kali kita tidak menyadari filter yang mungkin kita terbebani ketika kita membuat jawaban atas masalah. Pada tahap ini peluang muncul. Triknya adalah mengenali mereka sebagai peluang. Berbagai perspektif dan kerja tim sangat penting. Design Thinking menunjukkan bahwa jawaban yang lebih baik terjadi ketika 5 orang bekerja pada masalah selama sehari, daripada satu orang selama lima hari. Desainer memiliki keuntungan dalam penggunaan alat 2D dan 3dimensional untuk menunjukkan solusi dan ide-ide baru – alat yang hampir selalu jauh lebih efektif untuk menunjukkan apa yang dimaksud, daripada kata-kata.

3: Saring petunjuk yang dipilih
Sejumlah hasil yang menjanjikan harus dirangkul dan dipelihara. Diberi kesempatan untuk tumbuh terlindungi dari para pembunuh ide jahat dari pengalaman sebelumnya. Bahkan ide-ide baru yang terkuat pun bisa rapuh dalam masa pertumbuhan mereka. Design Thinking memungkinkan potensi mereka untuk diwujudkan dengan menciptakan lingkungan yang kondusif untuk pertumbuhan dan eksperimentasi, dan pembuatan kesalahan untuk mencapai hasil luar biasa. Pada tahap ini berkali-kali pilihan perlu digabungkan dan ide-ide yang lebih kecil diintegrasikan ke dalam skema yang dipilih yang berhasil melaluinya. Yang membawa kita ke tahap 3.5.

Usaha merupakan salah satu peluang bisnis yang banyak diminati orang. Tak hanya kalangan menengah ke atas, tapi juga kalangan bawah mulai merintis usaha. Misalnya saja bisnis kue kekinian para selebritis yang semakin marak. Kue kekinian sudah menjadi usaha tren booming dikalangan para artis. Semua berlomba-lomba untuk membuka outlet usaha kue di seluruh Indonesia. Sebenarnya, strategi seperti ini kuranglah menguntungkan.

Dikarenakan hanya bermodal mengikuti tren, bisnis semacam ini biasanya tak berlangsung lama. Mungkin mereka bisa mendapat keuntungan sebanyak-banyaknya karena status mereka sebagai orang terkenal. Masyarakat pun gemar mengikuti apa yang para artis lakukan. Jika manajemen yang dijalankan kurang baik, maka bisnis ini tidak akan berumur panjang. Jika tidak melakukan inovasi, bisnis ini pun akan lenyap karena banyaknya pesaing walaupun sesama artis.

Di tahun 2017 ini, banyak sekali bermunculan para pengusaha yang merintis usaha rumahan dari bawah. Tak ayal semakin ketat pula persaingan. Banyak dari mereka yang membangun usaha karena mengikuti usaha tren booming. Dikarenakan usaha tren booming yang diikuti merupakan usaha yang banyak dilakukan orang-orang dan juga telah terbukti hasilnya. Berbagai macam usaha pun bertebaran mulai dari fashion, kuliner, kecantikan, kesehatan, hingga elektronik. Semua bisa dijadikan usaha dengan niat dan tujuan yang baik. Ada beberapa tren usaha yang memang sedang booming belakangan ini.

Entrepreneurship dan IntrapreneurshipSekilas memang tak ada bedanya antara entrepreneur dan intrapeneur. Entrepreneurship atau yang lebih dikenal sebagai wirausaha / wiraswasta sudah tidak asing lagi. Wirausaha yang dijalankan oleh banyak orang yang idak bekerja sebagai pegawai kantoran ini memamng cukup menjanjikan. Sebagian orang hanya memnganggapnya sebagai hobi tapi hari ini berwirausaha seperti menjadi cita-cita banyak orang. Kenapa tidak ? dengan berwirausaha Anda tidak perlu kerja dari pagi hingga malam dan lembur. Anda bisa bekerja semau Anda dengan waktu yang fleksibel dan juga lingkungan yang nyaman. Anda tidak perlu takut dimarahi bos ataupun takut datang terlambat. Anda bisa menentukan jam kedatangan, Anda juga bisa menentukan berapa gaji Anda.

Menarik sekali bukan? Menjadi wirausaha memang sangat booming akhir-akhir ini karena hasil yang menjanjikan. Dengan kemajuan teknologi, informasi kini menyebar dengan cepat. Some policies seem to take the imagination of the citizens of the modern world rather than the idea of ​​a smart city. In fact, in many cases, their population levels continue to soar to an unprecedented level. It reveals that any discussion about the future city of technology is at the top. And, in the discussion of evolution, skills are needed by those who will build the city of the future.

The development of modern cities is always closely related to financial and commercial innovations. Recently, the specter of bankruptcy that has haunted people like Detroit and New York is a reminder that even the most powerful metropolis relies on strong governance, strategic planning and an analytical approach to building future resilience.

One of the keys to our research is that smart cities are always the same. Their development represents a journey, based on the needs of citizens and available resources. One estimate is that the number of smart cities around the world will triple to 88 by 2025.

In Asia and Africa, smart city development is related to social needs. Rapid urbanization creates unique pressures on the local economy, and affects the environment and population. India estimates about 300 million will become city dwellers by 2045. Urbanization is emerging around the world and smart cities offer hope to ensure that new urban areas can benefit from being planned for future generations to live.

iBeacon Features in Internet of Things Application

Since it was launched on 2013, Apple iBeacon was one of many devices with Bluetooth that can be working with Internet of Things Implementation. The IoT Platform is taking beacon to one of their features to ease developers managing the devices.

Although Apple specified iBeacon protocol within the broadcast message, the true pioneers of this technology was an Australian company called “Daelibs”., who first implemented the use of low energy Bluetooth for Proximity detection in 2011, some two years before Apple’s launch of iBeacon. Daelibs used this technology to verify service provision by detecting beacons with bespoke personal proximity devices which streamed data to a centralized cloud service.

iBeacon can also be used with an application as an indoor positioning system, which helps smartphones determine their approximate location or context. With the help of an iBeacon, a smartphone’s software can approximately find its relative location to an iBeacon in a store. Brick and mortar retail stores use the beacons for mobile commerce, offering customers special deals through mobile marketing, and can enable mobile payments through point of sale systems.

Most beacons use BLE technology, because of its low power consumption and implementation costs. The technology only allows for small amounts of data transmission, which is why most beacons only transmits their IDs. Due to its simplicity, beacon technology does not need to battle as many standards as other IoT applications.

Retail

Retail is currently the most popular area in which beacon technology is being implemented. Beacons allow for a new way of in-store interaction between customers and retailers. On the one hand, it allows retailers a new way of collecting data about its customers, based on their in-store actions. On the other side, it allows customers to receive personalized offers based on their preferences and their online/in-store behavior.

Sport venues

One of the biggest news last year was Major League Baseball’s adoption of beacon technology. They equipped 20 stadiums with more than 100 Beacons each to help visitors find their seats and to send them notifications about specific discounts.

Airports

Last year, Virgin Atlantic equipped the London Heathrow airport with beacons. The company is testing various use cases, adding new features every other week.

Examples include:

Specific offers – In the main area, people receive notifications about specific airline partner services (e.g., 0% commission at the currency exchange).
Indoor navigation – Beacons are used for micro-navigating services, leading passengers to their gates.

Public transport

An app called Wayfindr made by the Royal London Society for Blind People (RLSB’s) Youth Forum and digital product studio ustwo communicates with beacons installed in London’s Tube. It is used for delivering turn-by-turn audible directions to blind people, giving them better chances for navigating in London’s Underground.

Individually, Lightroom can be used to adjust photos with a slew of one-touch adjustments while Photoshop Express lets you do the basics like add filters, crop, as well as an auto-fix function that helps smooth out the rough edges. They’re both pretty decent and must haves for serious photography.

3. Airbrush

AirBrush is a great photo editing app if you take a lot of selfies. It specializes in quick fixes and edits made to face and skin including a blemish remover, teeth whitening, a function to make eyes look brighter, reshaping tools, and, of course, plenty of filters to add some pizzazz. It’s quite easy to use and has managed an incredible 4.8 rating in the Google Play Store. Most of the tools are one-click which makes all of it exceptionally easy to use as well.

4. Cupslice

Cupslice is another photo editor that relies heavily on things like filters to deliver a good experience. On top of filters, the app features a ton of stickers and the developers try hard to keep up with the latest trends so your stickers are usually up to date. The filters can also be customized to give the look you want. There are also some basic photo editing tools such as crop, frames, hue and saturation adjustment, black and white, collages, and brightness and contrast settings.

5. Fotor

Fotor is a long time member of this list and there are many blogs and lists that list Fotor as a must have option. We agree. It’s has a lot more actual editing tools than most and includes the ability to enhance photos with a one-tap tool for your convenience. Some of the other tools include crop, rotate, brightness, contrast, saturation, exposure, vignetting, shadow, highlights, temperature, tint, RGB, and, if those aren’t working, there are over 100 filters for you to choose from. It’s definitely worth a shot.
